Sunday, September 5 Classes do not meet on Labor Day weekend.
Tuesday, September 7 The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults Inquiry Session meets at 7:00 _ 8:30 p.m. in St. Martin Center. Topic for this week is" What Catholics Believe". Any adult who is interested in learning more about the Catholic Faith to become a Catholic, or any Catholic who wishes to prepare for receiving the sacrament of Confirmation, is welcome to attend. Call Sister Patricia at 828_8484 to register, if you plan to attend, or for more information.
Wednesday, September 8 The evening Religious Education Classes, K _ 6, and 8, meet at 6:45 _ 8:00 p.m. To avoid parking lot accidents, parents or older siblings are to pick up their family member in grades K _ 4 in their classroom after classes.
Thursday, September 9 The morning Small Faith Group meets for bible study at 10:30 a.m. in St. Martin Center. Newcomers are always welcomed! Special Intentions placed in the Church Prayer Basket in back of church are remembered in prayer by the group.
The Formation Team meets at 6:30 p.m. in St. Martin Center.
Upcoming Events/Meetings
Friday, September 17 and Saturday, September 18 Stewards of Gods Gifts: A Celebration of Catechetical Ministries will be offered by the Archdiocese of Louisville at Flaget Center, 1935 Lewiston Drive. On Friday, September 17, 1:00 _ 5:15p.m.,keynote speakers will be provided, followed by a Parish Catechetical Staff Dinner at 6:30 p.m. On Saturday, September 18, 8:30 _ 3:00 p.m., there will be keynote speakers, lunch, and information breakout sessions. This two day program provides various sessions for Adult Faith Formation Teams, Catechists, Deacons, Directors of Religious Education, Formation Committees, Priests, Principals, RCIA Teams, School Boards, and Youth Ministers. Pick up an information form in back of church regarding the keynote speakers and registration.
Saturday, September 17 and Sunday, September 18 This is Catechetical Sunday Weekend across the United States! At both the evenng and morning liturgies, our catechists, aides, and helpers with our catechetical program will be recognized and blessed by Father Paul after the Communion Meditation.
